Why we built echotag

Families told us existing wristbands were passive. echotag adds real‑time alerts so you can act in seconds, not hours
Our minimal coding and direct access using your own device GPS means we don't need to provide bloated apps - anyone scanning a tag simply gives permission to share GPS data and that's it!
A simple dashboard enables you to manage the information held against your tag, and nothing is stored on the tag itself other than a unique identifier that links to our systems.

Do finders need an app?

No. A simple tap opens a secure web page to contact you.

Is my data private?

Yes. We use a privacy‑first design with consent‑based sharing and secure storage.

Will this work without signal?

The tag still shows a fallback phone number. Alerts send once connection resumes.
